Daniel & Elijah Have Been Mistaken For Each Other

Both Daniel and Elijah reflected back on being mistaken for each other. The Lord of the Rings star shared a particular incident where he was misjudged for being Daniel. He shared, “Once I was in an elevator, just me and one other person and I could feel them looking at me intently. “Just before the door opened, he finally got up the courage, pointed at me, and said, ‘Harry Potter!’ I said, ‘No!’ and I walked away.”

Daniel also agreed with his sentiment as he shared that both of them have few similar features but they do not look alike. The actor said the idea of them is exactly the same though. He shared, “Though we’re both short, pale, blue-eyed and brown-haired, I would say that we don’t exactly look alike. But the idea of us is exactly the same. When people say to me, ‘Lord of the Rings!’ I literally just say, ‘Nope. The other one.’ ”

The Harry Potter star has previously opened up about dealing with the massive fame he received at a very young age. He said that one learns to care less or learns to not let it affect you in the same way. The actor added, “It’s something that you get adjusted to it as you get older and learn to not care about it so much.”
