Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint Won’t Rule Out Returning To The Franchise

Harry Potter might have come to an end, but decades later, we are still getting enough content to not let it go. One of the lead stars has revealed that they would love to return to the character again.

Our beloved character, Ron Weasley played by Rupert Grint; has revealed that he would love to reprise his role; even though there are no plans for the franchise to make a comeback. Rupert played the role of Harry Potter’s best friend.

Rupert shared that he would be up for it at the right time. He also said that he does not know what capacity that would be. The Harry Potter franchise has been expanded backward to the time when Albus Dumbledore, Gellert Grindelwald, and Newt Scamander were young.

The new characters have been developed in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films. However, there are no rumors or plans to take a step forward beyond The Deathly Hallows. It is yet to be seen, although the stage show, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child focus on Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s children.

Meanwhile, Rupert is busy promoting the second season of M Night Shyamalan’s dark Apple TV+ horror series, Servant. He is also adjusting to his new role as a father as he and Georgia Groome welcomed their baby girl last year.

Tom Felton Hinted At A Harry Potter Reunion

The actor revealed how Servant is the worst show to be a part of especially if you have just become a dad. The horror show revolves around a family’s grief after losing a child as the characters go down a dark path.

“We filmed this season in kind of two halves really, because of the pandemic,” he said. “I had the baby during the kind of down period when we were in lockdown and came back with the baby for the second part.

Rupert further added how strange it was and how it has changed his perspective on things but also in a helpful way. He said it was something he had never really had many ideas about.

Tom Felton had hinted that he has something special planned to mark the 19th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in November. The actor, as we all know, played Draco Malfoy in the fan-favorite franchise. And he still seems to be sharing a very special bond with his Harry Potter co-stars. Tom Reveals Desire To Work With Daniel

Tom revealed that he saw the Weasley Twins, played by James and Oliver Phelps. He said, “We went out to play some golf. Always chatting with a lot of the other guys on WhatsApp and staying in touch with them and making sure everything’s alright.”

Malfoy is one of the many villains of the franchise and the actor said despite that he gets immense support. Tom said Draco is great as he has so many layers and is highly misunderstood. However, he also agreed and said “he’s also a bit of a git”.

The actor said, “He needs a hug really. I think maybe people feel sorry for him, he needs a bit of affection”. He revealed that over the years he has reunited with a lot of his former co-stars.
