Yolanda Hadid can’t seem to contain her excitement over her Grandchild’s arrival! The 56 year old’s eldest child, model, Gigi Hadid is all set to welcome her first child, with singer, Zayn Malik as her due date approaches.
“Waiting patiently for her angel to be born……”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who is clearly excited about becoming a grandma, recently shared a series of Black and White photographs on her Instagram. In the pictures, Yolanda is all smiles as she lovingly rests her head on her daughter’s baby bump.
The 56 year old TV personality also shared another snap of her and younger daughter Bella Hadid’s hands cradling the 25 year old mom-to-be’s belly. “Waiting patiently for her angel to be born……” wrote Yolanda, alongside the beautiful pictures.
Yolanda, who’s a former model herself, previously spoke about her eldest daughter’s pregnancy, saying, “Of course we are so excited. I’m excited to become an Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life: One soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed,” she said at the time.

Yolanda’s post comes just a day after her ex-husband and Gigi’s father Mohamed Hadid shared an affectionate tribute to his soon-to-arrive, “little grandchild.”
“Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be,” he wrote in a handwritten poem. “When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried tears because I knew my heart would always belong to you.”
Alongside a photo of the poem, which has since been deleted, the 71-year-old real estate developer also included a message for his darling daughter. “In the name of God, The merciful I want to say l love you and I’m so proud of you,” he wrote. His post sent fans into a frenzy as they assumed it was a sign that the model gave birth. However, when asked if the baby had arrived her father replied saying, ‘no not yet.’
“Two buns in the oven”
Gigi’s younger sister Bella Hadid joined in showing some love to her pregnant sister, as she teased fans with a picture of her and Gigi both holding their stomachs.
“Two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and gigi’s is from @zayn ✨????????✨,” Bella captioned a throwback shot of the sisters. Gigi, who is dressed in a comfy dress is seen cradling her baby bump while Bella pulled up her tank top to bare her post-meal tummy. “I love you both so freaking much — can’tstopcrying ????,” the model added.
Gigi’s Pregnancy Journey
Gigi, who confirmed her pregnancy in April, reflected on her journey to motherhood last month while sharing a series of black-and-white photos from her maternity shoot, celebrating 33 weeks of pregnancy. “Growin an angel :),” Gigi captioned one snapshot that showed her resting on her knees as she cradled her stomach. Another post read, “cherishing this time.”
The baby will be the first child for both Gigi and Zayn, who have spent most of the pregnancy living with Yolanda at her farm in Pennsylvania, where Gigi’s family is isolated during the pandemic.
The model confirmed her pregnancy in April, after ‘family sources’ first revealed the news that she and her on/off boyfriend of five years were starting a family. Hadid appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she said at the time, “Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support. Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day.”
A source close to the family revealed, ‘[Gigi and Zayn] are closer than ever. Gigi has been living at her mom’s farm with Zayn,’ the source continued. ‘She came back to NYC recently but she plans to spend most of her pregnancy there at the farm.’
