The actress told Steve-O how she first met the rapper on the set of their 2019 film, The Kitchen, where they played love interests. “We became friends, but it wasn’t like anything sexual,” she explained. “Then, I went into this whole period of like, yeah, I want to start dating. So I got on Bumble May of last year, and I had been talking to Common and hanging out. Like, he comes and plays Spades with me and my friends. At this point, our friendship was getting a little more than friendship, but not quite. During quarantine, we were FaceTiming all the time.”

“Whoever likes me, holler. Make sure your credit right. [Make sure] you ain’t got no whole bunch of kids. If you got kids, they need to be already grown. I don’t need to be teaching them how to wash clothes, how to clean their room or nothing like that. You need to be a grown ass man, You need to be a full man. Not living with your mama, unless she’s sick and you’re taking care of her. I want a real man that got his own business going, his own career going on. And not needing me for nothing but companionship, an ear to listen to, and a little bit of a good time.”And by the looks of it, Haddish got all that she dreamed of and more.

Talking future projects and putting rumors to rest

In terms of future projects, Tiffany revealed that she already got the go-ahead from Paul Schrader. Who is the writer/director of her upcoming film, The Card Counter. Which is set to resume filming this month in Mississippi, after production was halted back in March, when one of the cast tested positive for COVID-19, just five days from wrap.

The Kitchen star clarified she can just wear wigs on set, adding, ‘I can wear wigs in real life too. I mean, I’ve done it for years.’ The actress even had to post a video to address some of her followers who raised concern over her motives for cutting her hair off.

Haddish assured them, “Nothing is wrong with my brain, you guys. I’m not suffering from no emotional s***, nothing. Anybody that knows me, knows me, knows that I’ve been talking about this for a long time.”
