Hollywood’s hottest couple celebrated their one year anniversary recently.
Joe and Sophie celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas took to their social media accounts to shower them with love. Nick and Priyanka posted a picture from their French wedding to wish the duo on hitting their milestone. The couple posted it on their Instagram story.
Joe and Sophie are one of the most loved couples, be it by us or by the world. The couple has successful careers in acting and music. And it is not hidden from the world that they love and support each other tremendously. They often take to Instagram to express their support for each other.
Joe and Sophie eloped the Billboard Music Awards last year to get married in Las Vegas in an almost private ceremony. Thanks to Diplo, we caught a few glimpses of our favorite couple tying the knot.

Rumors about the couple started doing the rounds in 2016. In MTV EMAs, Joe was spotted with his arm around Sophie. Later in an interview, Sophie revealed they met via a couple of mutual friends.
An image was circulated of Sophie and Joe including Kevin and Nick in a photo booth. They were at a wedding and they were messing inside the booth. The image was shared by their mutual friend. This led to fans going into a frenzy of spotting Joe and Sophie together in a picture.
By January 2017, Sophie finally made things official by sharing a snap of Joe on her social media handle. She shared a picture of him smoking a cigar in a boat in Miami. Sophie captioned the picture writing, ‘Miami Daze’.
In an interview at the Golden Globes, Sophie was asked if she is dating Joe Jonas. She replied coyly saying she will not say anything. But she did mention that she is very happy.
Joe started commenting on Sophie’s pictures giving us major goals. The couple was later photographed holding hands together at the airport, arriving for Fashion Week in Paris.
The pair attended Met Gala but chose not to pose together for photos. On July 1, in an interview with The Sunday Times, Sophie confirmed it publicly saying she is in a relationship. “I’m in a relationship, but it’s a very private relationship,” she said.
Sophie also opened up about her relationship with the Jonas Brothers. She revealed she was very happy in her new relationship and talked about the pressures of being a celebrity. Sophie explains she feels like she is living in a fishbowl. The news about the mundane things is boring, she says. Sophie said, “You do feel like you’re living in a fishbowl… It’s frustrating [that] it’s the most mundane things that make the news – how boring! There are no other headlines?”
Sophie and Joe took a step forward in their relationship and adopted a husky dog together in September 2017. They named the cute little thing Porky Basquiat and created an Instagram handle for it too.
In October 2017, Joe Jonas proposed to Sophie Turner after less than a year of seeing each other. The couple posted the most adorable snap on Instagram. While Sophie captioned it writing, “I said yes”, Joe captioned it writing, “She said yes”.
Discussing her engagement with Marie Claire for the Fresh Faces feature, Sophie talked about the weird conception of marriage being the greatest thing that will ever happen to a person. She further said her career is something she works for and when she achieves something, there is a sense that it is the greatest thing that she would do.
Sophie explains that it is lovely to be engaged but it is not like she achieved something. She said she found her person like a house she loves and wants to live forever in. Sophie further explains, “There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there’s a drive that comes with your career.”
Joe and Sophie gave us the ultimate couple goals when they dressed as Morticia and Gomez Addams for Halloween. Joe and Sophie’s family celebrated Christmas together. Sophie shared an adorable snap of the entire family including then newly-weds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.
At New York’s Radio City, the couple joined the entire cast of Game of Thrones from season 1 to 10, for the series finale. Sophie posed with Jack Gleeson, who played her fiance in the series for a short time. Joe posted the picture with Sophie and Jack on his Instagram joking, “WTF I thought this guy was dead.”
In March 2019, the Jonas Brothers finally made their comeback together after years of leaving fans in speculation. They released their comeback song ‘Sucker’ and shot a video with their wives and fiance, Sophie.
Sophie revealed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Joe slid into Sophie’s DMs. She said they had a lot of mutual friends who were trying to get them together for a long time. Talking about her wedding, Sophie said they want to keep it as low-profile as possible and make it an intimate event.
Surprising all their fans, Sophie and Joe tied the knot after the Billboard Awards in Vegas. The ceremony was conducted by an Elvis-impersonator. Nobody would have found out if DJ Diplo did not sneak in a few glimpses of our favorite couple getting married.
Sophie revealed in an interview later that she and Joe had broken up for 24 hours. She explains that when she was feeling mentally unwell when Joe told her he can’t be with her if she does not love herself. Sophie said, “I can’t see you love me more than you love yourself.’ That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way.”
The pair broke up at that time and revealed that it was the worst day of their lives. But after 24 hours they were like “Nevermind”. We are sure glad that they got back together as soon as they broke up.
The couple tied the knot with their family and friends officially. They shared a picture of them walking down the aisle holding hands after they got married.
Earlier this year, it was speculated that Sophie is expecting her first child with Jonas. Although either of them has not confirmed the news, the couple is seen taking walks and hiking. And with the images, it is evident that she is pregnant.
An inside source reveals that the couple is very happy and excited about this phase of their lives. They are getting ready for their baby. The source also says that Joe and Sophie are trying their best to be active. They go for walks and hikes together.
The couple is seen going for walks several times. Their recent outing in Los Angeles showed Sophie glowing with her baby bump as she was walking with Joe. The source reveals that the entire family is waiting for this new baby to arrive. Sophie is going to welcome the baby soon and they can’t wait to shower all their love.
