Shah Rukh Khan has been keeping to himself and it has become possible especially due to the ongoing pandemic. His fans have been wondering since last year which movie the actor will be featuring in next. He was linked to every possible movie that anybody could lay their hands on.
Be it Rajkumar Hirani, Atlee to Aditya Chopra, he was rumored to be featured in every other significant director out there. Back in 2017, there was an exciting report of SRK’s collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The news is buzzing again as there are fresh reports regarding the involvement of the two together. Shah Rukh and Sanjay have not collaborated together for over two decades for any venture. The pair worked together in Devdas and many fans were waiting for their collaboration again.
These reports that have been doing the rounds are of a movie called Izhaar. It is a romantic saga by Sanjay in which he wanted to feature Shah Rukh. As per sources, Izhaar was the movie that Bhansali wanted to do with Shah Rukh for a long time. The plot revolves around a couple that involves an Indian man and a Norwegian girl.
It also adds, “It’s based on the real-life story of the guy who cycled all the way to Norway for love. Bhansali wanted to adapt that into a screenplay and has reworked the script again for SRK’s perusal. Now it needs to be seen if Shah Rukh Khan green lights it this time around.”
As for now, Shah Rukh will appear in Siddharth Anand’s next movie, Pathan. This film will serve as a comeback for Shah Rukh who has been on a sabbatical for three years. His last release was Zero with Anushka Sharma and directed by Anand L Rai.
Except for the superstar, Pathan will see John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in essential roles. John will be portraying the role of antagonist in the movie. Salman Khan is also set to make a cameo appearance as Tiger in the venture. Fans are extremely excited to see Shah Rukh and Salman together again.
The film recently started production but the second wave of COVID caused the delay. Pathan’s shoot had to be halted eventually.
