India is facing the worst of the second wave of COVID-19. Many citizens are constantly testing positive for the same every day. Now actress Kangana Ranaut has also tested positive for the virus.
She took to her Instagram handle as she shared the news with her fans. The actress shared a picture as she wrote she was feeling tired and weak. She further added that she had slight burning sensation in her eyes for the past few days. The Manikarnika actress shared that she was hoping to go to Himachal so got her test done yesterday and today the result came back.
Kangana then announced that she has tested COVID-19 positive. She further wrote that she has quarantined herself and had no idea this virus is having a “party in her body”. The actress said, “I have quarantined myself, I had no idea this virus is having a party in my body, now that I know I will demolish it, people please don’t give anything any power over you, if you are scared it will scare you more, come let’s destroy this Covid -19 it is nothing but a small time flu which got too much press and now psyching few people. Har Har Mahadev.”
This comes after her Twitter account got suspended for violation of rules. She has been communicating with her fans through her Instagram handle.
Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account has been suspended. The reason for the suspension is unknown. The actor had previously commented on alleged violence in West Bengal following the announcement of the results of the May 2 general election. Ranaut, who has more than 3 million followers on Twitter, reportedly wanted imposition of President’s rule in West Bengal after Mamta Banerjee-led TMC secured a landslide win in the state.
Kangana Gets Suspended From Twitter
This is not the first time Twitter has taken action on the actor’s account. Earlier the micro-blogging site removed many tweets made from her account in violation of platform policies. Tweets made about farmers’ ongoing protests were removed by Twitter on February 4th.
Ranaut’s account was also suspended due to her controversial comments about the creators of “Tandav”. In a recently deleted tweet, Kangana had said it was “time to take their heads off”, allegedly for insulting Hindu gods on the web.
Kangana Ranaut retweeted a tweet accusing Sonu Sood of being a “fraud.” On Monday, a Twitter user posted photographs of Sonu supporting oxygen concentrator machines in advertisements.
The devices are extremely expensive, costing lakhs of rupees. “Such a scam using a crisis to make money Oxygen concentrator Rs. 2 lakh,” a Twitter user wrote after sharing the posters. The tweet was liked by over 2,700 users, including Kangana Ranaut. The tweet had nearly 800 retweets at the time of publication.
Since 2020, the actor has been supporting this brand. According to a press release on the company’s website, Sonu will be the “face of the company’s latest collection of Oximeters and Infrared Thermometers.” The actor was hired to “educate people around the country about the proper use of these medical devices and how important they are in tracking one’s health,” according to the release.
