Amber Heard’s former assistant claims that she stole her rape survival story. The assistant Amber fired said that she twisted her story for her own benefit.
Heard’s former personal assistant accuses Amber of stealing her story of being a sexual violence victim. Her PA says she twisted the story to be her own to benefit from blaming Depp.
Kate James, Heard’s former PA decided to break her anonymity and submit a statement to the High Court. She revealed that she was violently raped at knifepoint when she was 26. Amber twisted it into her own ‘assault’ story which was made up.
Kate worked with Heard between March 2012 until February 2015. She said that she had confided in Amber in 2013. She, at the time, revealed what she went through and her battle to overcome her experience.
Kate was giving evidence for Depp’s libel claim against The Sun as he accused the newspaper of calling him a ‘wife-beater’. She also revealed in court that Heard asked to hear her story of survival. Heard also suggested Kate buy a gun to which she said she sees herself as a survivor and not a victim.
Kate mentioned in her statement that she only received the libel high court hearing documents last month. She said as she read through the documents she was shocked that Heard used her story of sexual violence and twisted into her own story to benefit herself.
Kate expressed her outrage saying it caused her extreme distress that Heard would dare to attempt to use the most harrowing experience of her life as her own narrative. She further said as a sexual violence survivor it’s very serious to take that stance if you are not one.
Heard Used to Drink Vast Quantities of Wine
Kate said she is one and that’s the reason she was here because she took offense. She also revealed that Heard consumed vast quantities of red wine and then subject her to a ‘barrage’ of abusive texts. Kate further described Heard as the ‘least famous person’ she has ever worked for. She has been a PA to several other notable figures of the industry.
Kate also revealed that Heard would only let Depp consume non-alcoholic beer and drink vast portions herself. She says she used to buy it for Depp herself. The former PA appreciated Depp for being calm and quite shy and for always being thoughtful and a genuinely decent person.
Kate also revealed that she never saw any physical violence by either Depp or Heard even after visiting their house almost every day. She also revealed that when Heard started dating Depp, she always referred to him as ‘dating this old man’.
Sasha Wass QC, representing the publishers of The Sun, asked Kate about an email exchange between her and Heard. Heard had requested Kate to exclude a one-liner from her schedule, which included working with James Franco, and not to send it to Depp or anyone else. Kate said that she thought it was because Heard described her history with Franco as negative. She also claimed that Heard used the word ‘rapey’ to describe Franco because his approach to Heard had been sexually aggressive.
Depp had revealed the same thing about his jealously towards Franco and Heard’s friendly demeanor. He also claimed that Heard described Franco as ‘rapey’. Noting this, Sasha questioned Kate about her communication with Depp previously. Kate denied having spoken to Depp in years.
Depp’s Assistant Reveals When Depp had Enough
Further Johnny Depp’s assistant revealed that he wanted to DNA test the feces to determine its origin. He said Amber left a ‘whooper poo’ on his bed before telling her he wanted a divorce.
Depp asked for a divorce during a conference call with his assistant, as revealed in the court yesterday. Depp’s assistant Kevin Murphy revealed that Heard had dismissed it as a harmless prank. It took place after her 30th birthday party in April.
Later on May 22, Murphy was asked by Depp to repeat what he had said that day while he and Amber were on speakerphone. Murphy revealed yesterday in court that he repeated whatever he had said before to Heard. He told her that the housekeeper had found faeces on Depp’s bed.
Murphy also repeated what Heard had told him about it being a ‘harmless prank’. He said that Heard screamed at him and called him a ‘f*****g liar’ several times. Murphy asked her to stop yelling and swearing at him. He said he overheard Depp telling her to not speak to him that way and to show him some respect.
Murphy further said that he heard Depp tell Amber that he couldn’t do this anymore and he wanted a divorce. He said Heard could not stop yelling so he cut the call. However, he received several calls from that same number but he chose not to receive those calls.
The former assistant also said that Depp was so infuriated by the excrement that he wanted to DNA test the feces to know the exact origin. Depp wrote in a text exchange to a friend that his wife left a ‘whooper poo’ on his bed and further called her ‘Amber Turd’.
Amber Threatened Depp’s Assistant
Murphy also revealed that Heard had threatened him several times saying he will lose his job. In one such instance, Heard said his job was in danger if he did not make a statement exonerating her of blame for taking the couple’s Yorkshire terriers Pistol and Boo into Australia illegally. Heard wanted him and her assistant, Kate James to take the blame.
It was also revealed that their dog, Boo, had difficulties with toilet training. Heard had texted Murphy saying that she thinks the dog has brain damage and she can’t control it. Heard further said in the text that the dog shit all over Depp while he was sleeping. She clarified that she is not exaggerating.
Ben King, another one of Depp’s former estate managers, also gave shocking statements. He claimed that Heard travelled with ‘large number of cases of wine’. King further said she drank two bottles every night and started arguments with Depp.
He also revealed that Heard was the ‘antagonizer’ in their relationship. King said she often tried to provoke Depp and the couple argued like children. He said rows started with ‘banal beginnings’ before escalating.
It was also alleged that Depp had wrote Amber’s name in urine across the floor in Australia. He was said to have yelled, “I need to take a f***ing p***, it’s my house”. However, Depp denied the allegations saying he would have been in no position from doing that because of his severed finger which happened during that mayhem. King also denied noticing any urine while cleaning up.
Depp is suing the Sun’s publisher News Group Newspapers (NGN) and its executive editor Dan Wootton over an April 2018 article which alleged he was violent towards ex-wife Amber Heard during their relationship.
