Dua Lipa and Elton John unite on a groovy mash-up hit, Cold Heart Remix

Dua Lipa and Elton John have finally released the Pnau remix version of Cold Heart, which includes elements from several Elton John singles over the years, such as Rocket Man (1972), Kiss the Bride (1893), and Sacrifice (1989). Pnau is a dance music group from Australia that previously teamed with John in 2012.

Lines from Sacrifice and Rocket Man are sung by John, 74, and Lipa, 25. The video emphasises the song’s funk, sparkle, and atmosphere. Dua and Elton’s animated avatars can be seen singing their lines while channeling their inner dancers and swaying to the music in the video.

Taking to their own social media sites, both artists expressed their gratitude to one another and expressed their appreciation for the collaboration. “This track is the culmination of a beautiful friendship with you Dua and I’m so happy we can now share it — I hope you all [fans] love it!” The Kiss the Bride singer took to social media to express his feelings.

Dua also took advantage of the opportunity to express her gratitude for the potential partnership. Dua has earlier teased fans by posting a preview of the music video to show off their animated characters in the song. She also encouraged her followers to pre-save the song’s link.

Elton had replied by saying that he couldn’t wait for the rest of the world to hear what the two had to offer. Fans and well-wishers swamped Dua’s teaser post with positive comments and likes in favour of the upcoming duet.

Dua later tweeted another video confirming the release of their mash-up music. Revealing her excitement and how grateful she is, the Levitating singer wrote, “Elton you are my friend and my hero and I never thought I’d be able to ever say that in a sentence. Thank you for all your love and support. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to make music with you in this life [sic].”
