Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in the midst of an ugly battle that has been full of drama. Tensions seem to rise again for the estranged couple.
A source revealed that things are so between the former couple that they have refused to go in family therapy ahead of their custody trial. Brad and Angelina share six kids with each other. “Tensions have escalated between Brad and Angelina, with family therapy no longer taking place,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly.
The former couple appeared to be on cordial terms about co-parenting as Brad was spotted leaving Angelina’s house after meeting the kids back in June. However, sources revealed that Brad and Angelina are at conflict over who gets how much time with the kids.
The former couple shares six children, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Maddox who is the eldest son is free to choose his own timetable and has no contact with his father anymore.
“Brad wants 50/50 joint physical and legal custody of the kids. Angelina has been unagreeable to those terms,” revealed a source. The insider also revealed that Angelina would only talk about an agreement if the home base for the children isn’t Los Angeles. The kids who are younger, are in schools in LA, which Angelina does not appreciate.
It’s previously been suggested that Jolie wants to relocate to the UK and base the children with her there. The couple separated in September of 2016 following an argument of Brad and Maddox in a private jet.
Angelina Worried About Brad’s New Romance
Angelina and Brad met during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004. They were together for ten years before tying the knot in 2014. Angelina filed for divorce in 2016. The former couple had kept their relationship under wraps till Angelina got pregnant and confirmed their romance.
Brad Pitt has been on the news since a few days after being spotted with his rumored girlfriend, German model Nicole Poturalski. The actor has been dating the model for nine months and everybody is surprised.
Brad was spotted entering a private jet in Paris so that he could bring his girlfriend to his châteaux in the south of France. The couple was also seen kissing at the airport. However, there seems to be more drama from his relationship for his ex, Angelina Jolie.
Angelina is said to have hit pause on her love life so that she could take care of her six children with Brad during the pandemic. Although it seems like the actress has her concerns with her ex’s new relationship. According to a source, Angelina is worried about what impact the romance would have on their children.
The source further clarifies that Angelina does care about who Brad dates because of the impact it would have on their children. But other than that she has no interest in knowing about her ex’s love life. It is also reported that the actress has no feelings for Brad in that front anymore.
The source continued: “She is long past having any kind of romantic feelings for Brad so on that level it’s a non-issue”. However, one issue has been of concern to Angelina. Sources reveal she has been dedicating her time to their children while he has been away embarking his new romance. He is also becoming close to ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are rumored to be getting closer again after years of staying apart. Meanwhile, Brad’s divorce with Angeline Jolie gets more intense ahead of the custody trial.
