‘Big stars’ are thanked by Manoj. Thanks for recommending The Family Man 2 to Sidharth-Shehnaaz

Actors Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill have praised Manoj Bajpayee for ‘coming on board’ and supporting his action-drama web series The Family Man 2. He said in a recent interview that he met Sidharth at Mumbai’s Prithvi Theatre and that the two of them partied together. The second season, which will be based in Chennai, will premiere on June 4th. Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj, will be opposed against a new and powerful enemy, Raaji, played by Samantha Akkineni.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Manoj remarked, “I once met Sidharth Shukla. I was at the Prithvi Theatre watching a play, and he was also there, so we had a good time. He went on to become a major star after that. Shehnaaz is also a big star, according to what I’ve heard.

If such major personalities promote and encourage your programme, and their followers react with excitement when they associate your show with their endorsement, all I can say is thank you very much, Sidharth aur (and) Shehnaaz, for genuinely jumping on board and promoting our programme, and please watch it and don’t forget to tweet after watching it.”

After the interviewer read a fan’s remark, Manoj responded. “Says the fan,” “What an amazing trailer!! This was even tweeted by Sidharth-Shehnaz. Fans of Sid-Naaz and the Family Man 2 are just as enthusiastic as we are.”

Sidharth and Shehnaaz both tweeted about the trailer for The Family Man 2 after seeing it. “@sidharth shukla ka trailer dekh kar mazza aa gaya Family Man ka trailer dekh kar mazza aa gaya Wapas dekhna banta hai, wapas dekhna banta hai, wapas dekhna banta hai, wapas dek #LoveTheFamilyMan (Loved the Family Man trailer. @sidharth shukla, how about we watch the first season again?),” Shehnaaz wrote.

“Sri, Sri, Srikant ji, the not so minimum person ko wapas dekhna hi padega,” Sidharth said (have to watch again). @ishehnaaz gill, I couldn’t agree more, #LoveTheFamilyMan @BajpayeeManoj, kya kadak trailer hai! (Wow, what a trailer.)”
