“It has shaped me into the woman I am today. I am quite proud of the fact that I came from nowhere. I am a self-sufficient woman who runs my own life. I’ve created my own identity, which fills me with delight and pride. It is a source of pride for my parents “she continued.

Huma described her role as Rani Bharti in the Bihar-set series as the “role of a lifetime,” and stated that writers and filmmakers need to create more well-rounded female protagonists.

“It doesn’t have to be about the woman all of the time, but there should be more female protagonists. That is quite significant.
