Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia Bhatt has been dating the actor Ranbir Kapoor and they have been living together in this lockdown!
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating each other for quite some time now. In fact, they have been living together in this lockdown. While the actress’ father Mahesh Bhatt now likes the actor, there was a time when he didn’t.
Earlier, when Mr Bhatt had appeared on Koffee With Karan along with Emraan Hashmi, he didn’t seem to like Ranbir much. When Karan Johar asked about the actor’s biopic, Mahesh titled it as ‘Ladies Man’. Emraan too added to it as he advised the actor to “Stop playing the ladies man stereotype.”
Mr Bhatt had even revealed that he had walked out of Ranbir’s 2011 film Rockstar. He went on to call the film Barfi as the most overrated film.
However, now when his daughter is in a relationship with the Barfi actor, he seems to have started liking him. In an earlier interview with The Telegraph, he had said, “They’re in love. You don’t need to be a genius to get that! I love Ranbir… he’s a great guy. What they do to their relationship is something they’ll have to figure out. Whether it’s heading towards that port called ‘marriage’ — which is an institution that needs to be questioned in the second decade of the 21st century — is something for them to figure out.”
