Richa Chadha reveals how Ali Fazal proposed to him in the cutest way

Bollywood stars Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been dating each other for a long time and were going to get married this year!

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have always been very open about their relationship. The couple has been dating each other for a long time. In fact, they had planned on getting married this year. But now it has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple recently shot for Brides Today magazine and revealed their cute love story to the world. Richa talked about the first time she said ‘I love you’ to Ali. “We were at my house watching the 1992 biographical comedy, Chaplin. I was happy to see him enjoy the movie and grateful to have found someone with similar tastes. That is when I said, ‘This is really sweet, I love you.” to him. It took him three months to say I love you back to me,” revealed the actress.

The actor had planned a very simply yet romantic proposal for her. It was during a romantic dinner on a small, secluded island in the Maldives. The actress said, “I thought it was for my birthday – I didn’t suspect a thing. We had finished eating and were sipping champagne when Ali, being his spontaneous self, asked me to marry him. He didn’t go down on his knee, nor did he have a ring but that’s all right. After that, he took a 10- minute long nap on the sand – I think it was because he may have been stressed about the proposal!”

Aren’t these two simply adorable?

Earlier, in a statement, their spokesperson had confirmed that the couple has postponed their wedding to COVID-19. It will now happen in the later half of this year.
