Amid this pandemic, the doctors have been our saviours. And today as we celebrate Doctor’s Day, the Bollywood celebs are saluting the great work of the doctors!
The world has been fighting with a pandemic for the past four months. Many of us have had the privilege of sitting safely inside our homes. While the frontline workers have been out everyday, risking their lives, facilitating things for us. One of those have been the doctors who are at utmost risk in this battle against coronavirus.
Today the nation is celebrating Doctor’s Day and thanking them for their services to the country. Our Bollywood celebs too took the opportunity to thank them for their relentless efforts amid this pandemic.
Salman Khan took to Twitter, as he wrote, “Aaj #DoctorsDay hai, meri taraf se saare doctors ko dil se shukriya. Aapke dedication, or aapke sacrifices k liye! Thank you for being the strongest pillars of our country in this pandemic!”
Madhuri Dixit Nene has shared a special message through a video. She shared the video captioning it as, “This year more than ever we need to appreciate & support our doctors & healthcare workers for their endless hours of hard work, dealing with stress & challenges as part of their job & staying away from their loved ones to serve the people in need. Thank you.”
Young actress Ananya Panday too thanked all the doctors including her grandparents. Sharing a throwback picture, she wrote, “Happy Doctor’s day to my Dadaji, Dadi and all the selfless, superhero doctors out there. Thank you for keeping us healthy and safe especially in these tough times. Supremely proud to have two doctors as my grandparents”
