Rakul Preet Singh on shooting in the UK with Akshay Kumar in the midst of Covid

The entertainment industry is slowly resuming production, due to a decrease in the total number of coronavirus cases. Many film release dates have been revealed in recent days, and many more have gone into production. The film’s production was suspended due to the second wave of the pandemic, although it has since restarted.

Rakul Preet Singh, who will next be seen in MayDay, has recently begun filming in the United Kingdom for her next film opposite Akshay Kumar. The film’s title has yet to be revealed.

In the midst of Covid

Well, the actress is thrilled to continue filming as well as to leave the country after nearly two years. Rakul talked about her experience filming New Normal in an interview with Hindustan Times. “We are shooting in a bio-bubble on foreign places, and I believe it is safe,” she remarked. This is the most practical approach in a COVID-like situation. Today, it is critical to maintaining a constant eye on our health. If one of us gets sick, the entire output will be thrown out. Although wearing a mask is not mandatory in the United Kingdom, we still follow all regulations.”

The actress also expressed her joy at finally leaving the country after two years. Although her shooting site is a little beyond London, she visits the city on her days off to enjoy her “favorite restaurants and shopping.” It’s worth noting that Rakul has previously tested positive for COVID 19.

In terms of work, the actress will star alongside Akshay Kumar for the first time. She has Ajay Devgn’s MayDay and Amitabh Bachchan And then there’s Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan, for Akshay Kumar. Bell Bottom was his most recent release.

Akshay And Emraan For the first time

According to News 18, Karan Johar’s next film will star Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi and will be directed by Raj Mehta, who also directed Good Newwz. “This is the first time the two actors would collaborate,” a source close to the project said. The film is a remake of Suraj Venjaramoodu and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam film Driving Licence. While Akshay plays a rockstar in the role of Prithviraj, Emraan will reprise his role as a traffic cop who is also a diehard fan of the hero played by Suraj.”

The source continued, “The shooting is likely to begin early next year.” Raj is now working on Jug Jugg Jeeyo, a family drama starring Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Neetu Kapoor that will be released later this year. The unit will travel to Russia for one song, after which the movie will go into post-production.”
