No Way Home New Poster Sees Tobey, Andrew & Tom As Spider-Man

A fan-edited version of Spider-Man: No Way Home’s latest poster has given fans a look at Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Men teaming together.

Due to its multiversal aspects, Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated to be one of the largest Marvel films throughout the franchise. It was first planned as a sequel as early as 2017 but will not officially begin production until August 2019. Characters from both the Garfield and Maguire eras; including Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, and Willem Defoe’s Green Goblin, are set to appear in the picture.

While most of Holland’s supporting cast from his previous two Spider-Man films will return, including Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Zendaya as MJ; Marisa Tomei as May Parker, and Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan; the picture will apparently focus on many of these multiversal components.

Other MCU characters, including Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange and his mentor Wong, played by Benedict Wong, are also set to appear in order to maintain the franchise’s continuity. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are rumoured to be returning as the Spider-Men. They will supposedly partner up with Holland to take out the multiverse-travelling supervillains who have leapt into the MCU.

Zerologhy, an Instagram user, recently shared their own take on the current poster for the upcoming flick. Unlike the official poster, which just showed Holland’s newfound supervillains; this fan-edited version shows Maguire and Garfield swinging with the younger Spider-Man; as they prepare to combat this twisted version of the Sinister Six.

Andrew Garfield Adds Fuel To The Fire

Each of the villains depicted in the trailer is still present; including Doc Ock’s robotic arms aimed at the three heroes and the Green Goblin approaching them on his glider from behind. Throughout the creation and marketing of the film, viewers all over the world have reported that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will return for the upcoming Spider-Man picture; despite Kevin Feige and the actors neither confirming nor denying the revelations.

Andrew Garfield has only given cryptic responses to asked regarding his reappearance as the character in many interviews; adding fuel to the fire of fans eagerly anticipating his return. Furthermore, the release of apparently legitimate videos of Garfield on set in his Spider-Man outfit boosted hopes for the legendary Spider-Men’s return.

Having a graphic representation of the potential crossover, which may have game-changing ramifications for the cinematic universe; simply emphasises how fantastic of a notion it is. Not only would three fan-favourite depictions of the same character be able to share the screen; but the nostalgic effects of previous Spider-Men films would only add to the film’s appeal; and create a strong sense of positive among fans worldwide. Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in theatres on December 17; and audiences can only wait with anticipation for the return of the Spider-Men.
