Millie Bobby Brown Threatens Legal Action On TikToker, Hunter Echo After His Sexual Claims About Her
Millie Bobby Brown has recently broken her silence and threatened legal action against alleged ex-boyfriend and TikTok star, Hunter Echo.
This comes after the TikToker went live on the social media platform, Instagram and stated that he was in a relationship with Millie. He was 20 at the time while the actress was 16. Hunter received immense backlash from his audience who called him out for dating a minor. The TikTok star had also claimed that they lived together for eight months.
The internet started labelling him as a paedophile and accused him of allegedly grooming Millie. Elsewhere, in the live, Hunter also made claims that he and Millie performed sexual activities together. Now, the Stranger Things actress and her team are threatening to take legal action against Hunter.
As per a representative of Millie, Echo was not only being dishonest but he was being “irresponsible, offensive and hateful”. However, the TikToker stated in the Instagram live itself that he will not apologize for his claims. Fans and users expressed their opinion on Twitter and Instagram and they were quick to call him out.
Some users also began questioning Millie’s parents on allowing the situation to come so far. Meanwhile, yet other users brought back Millie’s previous friendship with rapper Drake. One user shared a screenshot of the definition of statutory rape.
Hunter is yet to comment on what unfolded after his Instagram live. His Instagram is seemingly unavailable and there are various hate pages created with his name in response to this unfortunate situation.
