Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been helping the migrant workers in reaching their hometowns amid this lockdown!
Actor Sonu Sood has emerged as a true hero for everyone in this time of crisis. While the lockdown has left the migrant workers helpless, he is helping them to travel to their hometowns.
Now as a mark of respect, a migrant woman has named her child after the actor. Sonu himself revealed it during his recent interaction with Anupama Chopra. He informed how the woman called him and told him they have named the baby after him.
“I said, how can it be Sonu Sood as you are Shrivastav. It could probably be Sonu Shrivastav, but she said, ‘Nahi humney bachche ka naam Sonu Sood Shrivastav rakha hai.’ That was so sweet; I was touched,” he told a newspaper.
Sonu started helping the people when he saw their struggle. “I was deeply saddened to see them walking with their little children on foot. These are the people who built our houses, our offices, they have laid the roads and I feel that we should not leave them in such distress. I thought that I have to come forward to help them and that is why I personally spoke to the governments, local as well as state, and got the arrangements done,” he had earlier told ANI.
