Meme-Coin Named After Elon Musk’s Dog Floki Inu Goes Viral Among Crypto Investors

The world of cryptocurrencies never fail to fascinate us. The latest meme-coin in circulation $FLOKI has been named after the dog of the world’s richest man, Elon Musk.

Elon Musk is an avid supporter of the cryptocurrency revolution. He often talks about crypto investments on his official Twitter handle and was a major reason for the rally in the prices of a meme-coin named Dogecoin last year.

Elon Musk Influence

Elon Musk holds the power to send the price of any crypto soaring or plummeting with a single tweet. Just recently, the SHIBA Inu token hit an all-time-high but after Elon said that he owns none of it in his portfolio, the $SHIB price tanked.

A new cryptocurrency named Floki Inu is now catching momentum amongst the new generation of crypto investors who turn towards Twitter and Reddit for their investment decisions.

“Missed Doge? Get Floki”

The Floki Inu coin has also been advertised in the public transports in London. “Missed Doge? Get Floki,” the advertisement reads, promoting investors to bet on Floki Inu.

The project lead of Floki Inu have said on Medium that the advertisements will not slow down and they are planning more locations such as Los Angeles, Japan, China, and Russia. While Russia and China have adopted a tough stance towards cryptocurrencies, it remains to be seen what happens next.

Elon Musk does not seem involved in any way in the $FLOKI project. He has clarified in a tweet that the only cryptocurrencies he owns are Bitcoin, ETH, and Doge.

“As I’ve said before, don’t bet the farm on crypto! True value is building products & providing services to your fellow human beings, not money in any form.”
