Since schools being closed due to the pandemic, it has encouraged parents to step up and face the harsh reality of homeschooling their kids. Kristen Bell who also has to face this reality says that homeschooling her two daughters is anything but easy.
“Homeschooling sucks”, she revealed in one of her interviews with Entertainment Weekly. “I’m not gonna sugarcoat it okay?”
“The Good Place” actress posted a cry for help by showing how her kids have hijacked their daily learning sessions through a post on social media.
The actress stares at the camera sadly as one of her daughters sits on her shoulder while the other seems more interested in petting the dog, in the photo that she posted on Instagram.
The Frozen star first told Ellen De Generes, a month ago that she had given up on teaching her youngest daughter, Delta, 5. “I attempted to give her some math problems at the beginning of this quarantine. She answered the first and second one, and then she got really sassy and wrote, ‘No’ … in the answer grid.” She continued, “I threw in the towel.”
Her eldest daughter, Lincoln, 7 left Kristen a sweet note saying:
“you are the best home teacher”
After seeing her post on social media, fans and famous friends were quick to empathize with her. Some of them shared their personal stories about how they’re trying to manage their own children.
Although this isn’t the first time the ‘Frozen 2’ star has opened up about the trials of quarantining with family. She had previously mentioned how COVID-19 has been difficult for her marriage with her husband Dax Shepard. She admitted in an interview in April, that they’ve ‘been at each other’s throats’ due to being around each other the entire day.
