Since 2020, the actor has been supporting this brand. According to a press release on the company’s website, Sonu will be the “face of the company’s latest collection of Oximeters and Infrared Thermometers.” The actor was hired to “educate people around the country about the proper use of these medical devices and how important they are in tracking one’s health,” according to the release.

Sonu and Kangana worked together on Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi until Sonu decided to leave the project. Kangana had previously stated that he would not work with a female director. This was not the case, according to Sonu. “80 percent of my scenes were cut off, and the scenes that I was narrated weren’t there,” the actor said in an interview with Barkha Dutt’s Mojo Story. Sonu told Kangana that he wasn’t ‘comfortable in shooting what she is asking me to do’ after speaking with her and knowing her vision.

Sonu has spent the last year focusing on amplifying resource requests and assisting those in need in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The actor has aided refugees and students, as well as helping to secure medical oxygen for those fighting Covid-19’s second wave. He recently posted a video of his phone continuously ringing with messages from people seeking assistance.

Recently, Sonu urged the government to offer free education to children whose parents died as a result of Covid-19. Priyanka Chopra praised his efforts, calling him a “visionary philanthropist.”

Kangana’s Protest

On the other hand, Kangana objected to the notion of ‘forcefully’ extracting oxygen from the atmosphere. “How are we compensating for all the oxygen that we are forcefully drawing from the environment? Everyone is building more and more oxygen plants, having tonnes and tonnes of oxygen cylinders; how are we compensating for all the oxygen that we are forcefully drawing from the environment? We seem to have learned little from our mistakes and the disasters they have caused #PlanttreesOn Monday, she sent out a tweet.
