Full Cast of Star Trek: Prodigy Has Been Revealed, Along With First Look Character Images

The whole voice cast for the new animated series Star Trek: Prodigy, part of Alex Kurtzman’s expanded universe, has been revealed by Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.

The series, created by Dan and Kevin Hageman, is set in the year 2383, following the events of Star Trek: Voyager, and follows a motley crew of young aliens as they try to salvage an abandoned spacecraft and start on an adventure in the Delta Quadrant. Kate Mulgrew’s Kathryn Janeway, who acts as a hologram aboard the starship, will assist the gang.

The voice cast for Star Trek: Prodigy has been revealed by Paramount+ and Nickelodeon as the series’ premiere date approaches. Ella Purnell will play Gwyn, Brett Gray will play Dal, Jason Mantzoukas will play Jankom Pog, Dee Bradley Baker will play Murf, Angus Imrie will play Zero, and Rylee Alazraqui will play Rok-Tahk. Below is a new look at the characters as well as their actors:

Star Trek Prodigy Cast

The great actors should come to life brilliantly on screen, thanks to a cast that includes both big-name actors like Big Mouth’s Mantzoukas and veteran voice actor Baker, as well as up-and-comers like Imrie and Alazraqui, daughter of famed voice actor Carlos. Now it’s only a matter of getting a better understanding of the characteristics of the story’s youthful aliens.

Though the streaming site has yet to confirm a release date for the series, with half of the year already gone, the first trailer and premiere for Star Trek: Prodigy should be due soon.

Even if you don’t like Janeway, the return of the Voyager should be a thrilling idea for lifelong Star Trek fans. Lower Decks will be back on Paramount+ in August, so fans can look forward to that.
