Everything You Need To Know About Netflix Original ‘Murder Mystery 2’

Murder Mystery, the Netflix-Original comedy is all set to return for a sequel and fans are more excited than ever. However, since the filming of the project has not yet commenced, it will be a long wait until we see Murder Mystery 2 hit the screens.

The first part of Murder Mystery was a great success on Netflix. The movie by Adam Sandler amassed over 83 million audience figures and was considered amongst Netflix’s most successful Originals to date. This naturally puts a massive burden of expectations on Murder Mystery 2.

Filming Schedule

Murder Mystery 2 is set to begin filming in January 2022 in Hawaii. To be precise, the shooting of the Netflix-Original will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii from January 10th, 2022 to February 5th, 2022.

The movie is also planned to be filmed in France but there are no confirmed dates about the France shooting scenes. Adam Sandler’s own production, Happy Madison Productions will be heading the production for Murder Mystery 2, just like it did in the first part.

Storyline And Cast Members

The storyline for the sequel has not yet been disclosed but it would soon be out in the public once the filming kicks off in January. Regarding the cast members of the movie, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are the only two celebrities confirmed to appear in season 2.

As per WhatsOnNetflix, Sandler has had an extensive and lucrative relationship with Netflix. Out of the eleven collaborations between Netflix and his production company, Happy Madison Productions, Sandler will have starred in a total of nine films by the time Murder Mystery 2 drops on Netflix.
