Wonder Woman is gearing up to be hitting the theaters this June. Despite, Hollywood delaying many of its Blockbuster projects like ‘No time to Die‘, Fast and Furious 9 and A Quite Place 2.
Warner Brothers and DC have so far shown no signs of delaying their upcoming movie ‘Wonder Woman 1984’. The movie has already been rescheduled 3 times and could be pushed further if coronavirus continues spreading.
Besides, Wonder Woman Gal Gadot is ready to fight Cheetah. Actress Kristen Wiig will be playing the role of the main antagonist(cheetah). The movie features Pedro Pascal as a villain too, in the character of Maxwell Lord.
What to Expect from Wonder Woman 1984?
In the first edition, Gal Gadot plays the role of Diana, a princess of the Amazons. One day, an American spy Steve Trevor character played by Chris Pine crash lands on the shores of Paradise Island.
Steve Trevor than informing Diana about the horrors that are unleashed in the on-going war. Suspecting Ares who is the god of war behind it. Diana joins Steve on a journey to fight General Ludendorff and Doctor Poison. The two have a sinister plan of releasing a chemical weapon that will push the planet on brink of war.
Also, At the end of the first edition, Diana found out that, she is the daughter of God Zeus which makes her immortal.
In the upcoming edition, Diana is living a dull life in the 80’s era. She is working at the History Museum in Washington. Interestingly, during her stint in the museum, she meets Barbara Minvera (Kristen Wiig) who also works there, and the friendship does not end well and Soon, Barbara embarks on the journey of becoming the Cheetah.
However, with an interesting plot to the story, DC surprised Wonder Women by unveiling a new costume called ‘ the Golden Eagle Armor’. The costume is the brainchild of Queen Studios Collectibles.
Yesterday, Director Patty Jenkins shared the new motion poster with Gal Gadot wearing her new shimmering Golden armor, while there’s a golden liquid moving in the background.
