Since losing to Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash, Charlotte Flair has not been seen. She’s about to make her return to the ring, and WWE could have her show up at SummerSlam. She will want the title back because she held it before Rousey, and she may do so by assaulting Morgan after the match.
Charlotte Flair’s early days
A professional wrestler for the WWE, Charlotte Flair (Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr) began her career in the company’s developmental programme NXT, where she competed for the first three years of her career between 2012 and 2015 before reaching the main roster in 2015.
Flair won the Divas Championship, two NXT Women’s Championships, a record six times on Raw Women’s Championship of which she is the first champion, and a record six times on SmackDown Women’s Championship. She also triumphed in the Women’s Tag Team Championship, completing the Triple Crown and Grand Slam. The first women’s match to headline WWE’s biggest event was her bout with Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Charlotte Flair is the face of WWE in the Women’s Division
Both the men’s and women’s divisions of the WWE require a face. No other woman that we see as part of the WWE Universe can fit all the criteria. One of the best female wrestlers, in everyone’s opinion, is Charlotte since she excels in all areas.
Absence from WWE
Before her match with Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania 38, she had participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match after but was eliminated as the final contestant by Ronda Rousey, who was returning to the company. Flair did win back the championship from Rousey at WrestleMania 38, but then lost the title at WrestleMania Backlash. Since then she has been absent from WWE. That evening, Ronda Rousey forced her to say ‘’I Quit’’ in order to capture the championship for the first time while ending her bitter rival’s record-breaking sixth term as champion. Later reports confirmed that Charlotte Flair’s absence from WWE TV programming was the result a storyline injury, as she was taking her time off WWE.
She asked for time off before WrestleMania Backlash 2022 since she had a wedding date set up with her fiancé, AEW wrestler Andrade.
Here’s her reaction to Andrade leaving WWE.
Speculations regarding her return at SummerSlam
Since WWE couldn’t bear to lose a superstar of her magnitude for an extended period of time, speculation regarding her return to television was at an all-time high. However, ”the queen” intends to seek redemption this summer, proving that she is simply not through with “the baddest lady on the earth.” Flair might go head on with Rousey or in future PPVs we can expect a triple threat match between her, Rousey and Morgan, as they have upcoming shows like Clash at the Castle, Extreme Rules and Crown Jewel. We can finally then witness ‘’The Queen’’ winning the Queen’s Crown Tournament if it happens during that pay per view itself, which would be apt as she is the deserving candidate for it.
