Trish Stratus Reveals Her Reasons For Returning To WWE

Throughout the 2000s, Trish Stratus, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, was one of the company's most adored women's wrestlers.

Since retiring from full-time competition in 2006, she has continued to astound wrestling fans in her few ring appearances.

It was widely believed that her most recent match, a one-on-one confrontation with Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019, would be her final match.

Stratus is now expected to come out of retirement at WrestleMania 39.

The motivation behind Stratus' comeback to the ring this year was revealed in a recent interview.

"If it's fun, I'll only return. My businesses and my children will have to wait while I focus on this."

The former WWE Women's Champion claims that her desire to support the company's rising stars is the primary driver for her decision to compete once more.

She said, "I adore passing on the knowledge and carrying the torch."
