Chris Paul did not enjoy a fruitful trip to Dallas during the Phoenix Suns' second-round series against the Dallas Mavericks.

The veteran point guard, who torched the Mavs in the first two games, especially in Game 2, had a career-high number of turnovers in Game 3

He collected more fouls than points in Game 4 fouling out with approximately 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter of the game.

Tim Legler, speaking on ESPN's show Get Up, broke down what went wrong for Paul during the loss.

"You're looking at the combination of factors that led to Chris Paul not being included in that game."

"Some, his own doing, some, just not smart plays when you're already not getting the benefit of the doubt on calls earlier."

"There's also a couple he's just wrong place, wrong time and then I thought there was a couple other ones that I just absolutely disagreed with the call,"

"Anyway you slice it, when you're in that kind of trouble the entire game, there's no way you can get into rhythm on the other end of the floor."

"I just thought it was a very strange game for Chris Paul."

Paul's night only got worse after his family was involved in an incident with a fan that reportedly put his hands on Paul's mother and his wife.
