Official Images Of The Air Jordan 5 “GORE-TEX”

While it is not advised, Air Jordans are regularly worn during the winter months to defend against colder weather and, in certain circumstances, rainy situations.
Anyone who lives in the North has shovelled snow from their driveway in a pair of beater Retros, and considering the cushioned nature of the early Air Jordan models, they perform rather well.
Jordan Brand will produce a winter-ready version of the Air Jordan 5 Retro in December, complete with GORE-TEX protective shielding to keep your feet dry.
It comes in a traditional black/red design, with complete water-resistant suede uppers, a red-on-black sharks teeth feature at the forefoot, and a yellowed transparent material on the midfoot, tongue netting, and outsole.
The shiny tongue is back, this time with a red Jumpman on it.
The GORE-TEX logo appears on the heel and insoles, as well as stitched on the heel.
However, you can see the patented substance in action in the demonstration shot, which shows the shoe coated with water droplets.
The release date for this women's-only drop is currently set for December for $220.
