Randy Orton is one of the most popular wrestlers in the world today. Orton is a gifted in-ring competitor and can go toe to toe with some of the best wrestlers in the world. He’s also the master of delivering the cutter, popularly know as the RKO. Orton’s RKO has become one of the most lethal finishers in the business. The 14-time world champion delivers the move that has been previously used by the likes of Johnny Ace and DDP to perfection.

Orton’s timing when it comes to hitting the RKO remains unparalleled to this day. At 41 years of age, the Viper has already cemented his place among wrestling’s all-time greats. The Viper’s uncanny ability to execute his finisher was on full display during last night’s episode of RAW. Orton and Riddle were involved in a tag team title match against Alpha Academy and the odd pairing of Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.

Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match

Last night’s, RK-Bro took the Raw Tag Team titles away from Alpha Academy’s Otis and Chad Gable in the show’s opening match. The three-way tag team title match, which also featured Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, was absolutely fantastic, and will likely go down as one of the best WWE TV matches of the year. The match was honestly incredible, featuring several incredible spots, including what some are calling one of the best RKOs in history.

The RKO is a favorite move for many WWE fans, but last night’s special from Randy Orton may be the best he’s ever done. Chad Gable went up for a moonsault towards the end of the match, and as can be seen below, with caught with a huge RKO from Orton. The move was timed to perfection by both Orton and Gable, and the crowd on Cleveland popped huge for what was undoubtedly the spot of the night.

Social media began frenzying over the moonsault RKO. Many took to Twitter to compare the move to Orton’s iconic RKO that he delivered on Evan Bourne years ago on Monday Night RAW.

RK-Bro becomes the new Tag Team Champions

As noted, Randy Orton and Riddle regain their Raw Tag Team titles during last night’s show, with RK-Bro becoming two-time tag team champions after first winning the belts last year. After the match, Orton and Riddle said that they’ll be going to WrestleMania, likely meaning that the pair will be defending their titles at WWE’s biggest show of the year.

It’s likely that the pair will be facing either Alpha Academy, the Street Profits, or possibly even both at WrestleMania 38 on either April 2 or April 3.
