Vicky Kaushal explains how he discovered Udham Singh’s state of mind

Vicky Kaushal fans have had a thrilling few weeks as the actor promotes his heavily hyped film, Sardar Udham. The film, which stars Vicky as a revolutionary, takes us to a time when India was struggling for independence from the British Raj.

While the trailer received a lot of positive feedback, Vicky’s appearance drew everyone’s attention. Vicky has revealed the film’s original background score and explained why it is vital to the story of Udham Singh ahead of its release.

Vicky took to Instagram to post the whole list of background music tracks from Sardar Udham, thanking composer Shantanu Moitra for each one. Vicky used it to explain how filmmaker Shoojit Sircar used music to help him understand the character’s mindset. Vicky encouraged followers to express their reactions to the background score after hearing it.

He wrote, “Before starting the Shoot of #SardarUdham I was given a music piece by Shoojit Da. He asked me to find the state of mind of Udham Singh in that piece. That’s how important music is to this Film. There are no songs in the film but with the generosity of @moitrashantanu and the vision of @shoojitsircar, we have an absolutely sublime and original music score which I believe is the soul of the Film. We bring you the entire score in an album. Hear it. Cherish it. Let me know which one you connected with the most in the comments below.”

Vicky Kaushal can be seen in various different avatars in the trailer. In the part of Sardar Udham Singh, the actor looks fantastic. Everything in the trailer looks perfect: his body language, the background score, the sentence delivery, and the background. We’re sure the fans will be left wanting more.

Vicky has been posting stills from the film in which he plays Sardar Udham Singh over the last few days. In the post, he also introduced his co-star Amol Parashar.

The film would feature Amol in the role of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Shoojit Sircar directs Sardar Udham, which is produced by Sheel Kumar and Ronnie Lahiri. The film was supposed to be released in theatres. However, it will now be available on Amazon Prime Video. On October 16, 2021, it will be released.
