In Sardar Udham, Vicky Kaushal shares the first glimpse of co-star Amol Parashar

Vicky Kaushal has been making headlines recently as a result of his upcoming film Sardar Udham. The trailer for the film was published last week, and it shocked viewers with Vicky’s portrayal of Sardar Udham Singh.

Vicky released the first glimpse of another important character in Sardar Udham Singh’s story, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, played by Amol Parashar, on Tuesday. Vicky shared a photo of himself as Shaheed Bhagat Singh with his co-star Amol Parashar on social media.

Amol, I’m glad we got to play this friendship game. Oct 16. #SardarUdham #SardarUdhamOnPrime” Vicky is dressed as Sardar Udham Singh in the shot, while Amol is dressed as Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

While getting captured in the frame in the picture-perfect snap, the two could be seen smiling and talking. Vicky expressed his delight at having Amol as Bhagat Singh as a co-star.

Fans were thrilled to see their camaraderie as two rebels in the Indian freedom war as soon as Vicky uploaded the photo. “Bhaji bahut vadia look lag rahi a,” one fan remarked. “Excited for Sardar Udham,” wrote another. “Can’t wait for the film!!!!” wrote another.

Vicky plays the revolutionary who assassinated General Dyer in the UK following the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Sardar Udham. Shoojit Sircar directs the film, which also stars Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. The film will launch on Amazon Prime Video on October 16, 2021, after missing out on a theatrical release.
