On Saturday night last week, the customary 30 men’s and women’s over-the-rope elimination battles took place. Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley each triumphed in their respective matches.
At WrestleMania 39, they will both have a chance to win the global championship. Belair said that she’s not exactly rooting for anyone to lose in the women’s Royal Rumble match, despite her desire to fight Ripley.
“I definitely want to keep the throne safe,” Belair declared. “I am, but I support everyone.” I was recently conducting an interview, and I was asked if there was anyone in the women’s Royal Rumble that I should be cheering against. Absolutely not, no, I say. “I’m pulling for everyone, and I want us all to succeed.”
