The Batman IMAX Poster Highlights All DC Film’s Characters

The official IMAX poster for The Batman depicts the complete cast of the DC picture in a grim manner. DC movies are always exciting, but Matt Reeves’ The Batman has to be one of the most eagerly awaited pictures in the franchise in a long time.

The rebooted version of the legendary hero stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne and is set in a realm separate from the DCEU. When The Batman returns, he’ll be in his second year as Gotham’s infamous vigilante, and it won’t be long until he meets his toughest test yet.

The Riddler (Paul Dano) is the embodiment of this. This version of the antagonist is a masked serial murderer who has been preying on Gotham’s elite while also playing games with Batman. To uncover the Riddler’s evil plans, Bruce will team up with both Jim Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) and Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz), who appears to be straddling the line between ally and foe.

Other well-known DC characters appear in the film, including the Penguin (Colin Farrell) and Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis). Every single one of those characters is depicted on the official IMAX poster for The Batman, which was unveiled barely a month before the film’s release.

The horizontal sheet features several glimpses of characters such as Bruce Wayne, the Riddler, and Catwoman, all of whom are loomed over by an outline of a bat with a question mark in the center. Take a look at the video below.

The Batman has launched a clever marketing campaign that incorporates riddle-filled websites and hidden-message banners. It’s all part of the larger mystery surrounding The Batman, which right now centers around the Riddler and his huge scheme.

Reeves has been upfront about his intention to explore Bruce’s detective abilities, and the film’s general look is reminiscent of gritty crime dramas such as Seven. Overall, The Batman is unlike any other superhero film, which is part of what makes it so thrilling.

The Batman has a large array of people to introduce, as the IMAX poster shows. Some, like Gordon and the Penguin, are already set for their own spin-offs, while others, like the Riddler and Catwoman, could play supporting roles in Bruce’s plot. Reeves and DC have made no secret of their desire to expand the Batman universe, and this film is simply the beginning. When The Batman appears in March, audiences will be able to watch all of the above characters in action.
