Taylor Swift announced her new album “Midnights” during the recent MTV’s annual Video Music Awards. The All Too Well singer won the top honor at the event and made a surprise announcement which made the fans crazy.
Taylor Swift recorded the making of her new album on Instagram. Behind-the-scenes footage showed Jack Antonoff. Jack Antonoff produced several of Taylor Swift’s prior albums. He has produced Taylor’s albums ranging from “Out of the Woods” to “Lover,” and who shared a Grammy for album of the year for 2020’s “Folklore,” returns with her new album “Midnights,” which is set to be released on October 21.
Now we see Jack being a part of the production of the new album as well. Taylor captioned her post by saying “The making of ‘Midnights”. In the video we see the singer and producer duo working on a new song at Antonoff’s studio. In the video we see the pair playing keyboards and MIDI controllers alongside Taylor testing her vocals.
The video is accompanied by an uncredited song snippet with the line”It’s just the life you lead, but it’s yours,”. The voice behind the lyrics sounds like a male voice but it is not confirmed if this snippet is from the original works.
Taylor Swift’s New Album
Another video shows test pressings of various colored vinyl records. Reportedly, these records were previously online at Swift’s online store for a limited period over Labor Day weekend. Not many details have been disclosed about Taylor’s upcoming new album. Swift announced the release of a new album last month during her acceptance speech for video of the year at the MTV Video Music Awards. Reports suggest that the album will have 13 tracks. However, the title of the tracks has not been revealed yet.
Talking about the availability of the song Target Chain has announced that they are offering exclusive CDs of the new album and two out of three songs will be remixed.
Antonoff and Taylor began working together in 2014. the first album they worked n together was “1989” and ever since then, the pair have been collaborating on many songs. their other work includes albums like Taylor’s version of her old albums Fearless” and “Red.” Jack has been one of the oldest producers of Taylor Swift’s works. Antonoff also collaborated with Taylor on her recent album with Aaron Dessner “Folklore” and “Evermore.”
