Stranger Things Season 4 is set to premiere in 2022
Stranger Things season 4 will be released in 2022, possibly three years after the third season, which debuted in July 2019. Production was impacted by the pandemic, as has been the case with many TV and film projects, having begun in February 2020, only to be suspended until it resumed last September.
The new Stranger Things will not be set in Hawkins, the small town made familiar to viewers over the first three seasons, according to actor David Harbour, who plays Hopper.
Given the show’s huge success and the conclusion of Stranger Things season 3, there has been a lot of doubt about when season 4 will be released. Stranger Things season 4 was supposed to premiere this year, but due to production delays, it had to be pushed back.
Even the show’s creative team joined in on the fun of trolling viewers, but producers promised a week ago that Stranger Things updates would be forthcoming. It has now been revealed when Stranger Things Season 4 will be released.

Stranger Things’ ongoing success can be attributed to a variety of factors, not the least of which is the series’ ability to provide viewers with compelling storylines, outstanding visuals, and rich character development.
Season 4 appears to be taking the action away from the established setting of Hawkins, at least for a portion of the time, in order to take a more geographically diverse approach, with filming locations in Georgia, New Mexico, and Lithuania.
