Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have finally welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world.
Sophie gave birth at a Los Angeles hospital last Wednesday. The couple haven’t yet confirmed the news. According to sources, Joe and Sophie have welcomed a baby girl and named her Willa.
A source revealed that the couple are over the moon and are already gloating on this new addition in their lives. They further said the couple is taking their time to enjoy this moment. The couple have only shared the news with family and friends. Sources say, “With the pandemic Joe and Sophie have been very cautious about who is around them and their little girl.”
The wonderful news comes after Sophie admitted that she cannot wait to be a mother. An inside source previously revealed that the couple is very happy and excited about this phase of their lives. They are getting ready for their baby.
The source also said that Joe and Sophie are trying their best to be active, They go for walks and hikes together. The couple was seen going for walks several times. Their outing in Los Angeles showed Sophie glowing with her baby bump as she was walking with Joe.
The source further revealed that the entire family is waiting for this new baby to arrive. Sophie is going to welcome the baby soon and they can’t wait to shower all their love.
Joe and Sophie have not publicly talked about their baby. They have revealed in several interviews how they spend their time together.
News broke of Sophie’s pregnancy in February. The couple was snapped shopping at a children’s store in Studio City, California. In May, Jonas talked about spending time with his wife while under quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Sophie Enjoys Spending Quarantine With Joe
In an interview in May, Joe talks about their quarantine together amid the coronavirus pandemic. He said since they got married last year, it is still new. So they are having a good time. Joe also reveals that they were on tour for a long time, so spending time at home is ‘kinda nice’.
He further said that Sophie does her thing and Joe does his thing, even though they are under one roof.
“We appreciate and we know that time for ourselves is important,” he continued. “So, I’ll do my thing, she does her thing, even though we’re all under one roof. I think that’s been helpful for us.”
In an interview with Conan, Sophie said she is enjoying her time in quarantine with Joe. She said everything happens according to her because Joe is a social butterfly. Sophie further says that it is difficult to lock him down and spend time with him.
She jokes that it is prison for Joe but great for her. Sophie further reveals that she pours shots for him and they have a shot of tequila saying it’s ‘shot time’.
Joe and Sophie give us a sneak peek into their lives through social media. Earlier, Sophie posted a picture of Joe revealing that he cooks for her. She captioned it saying it is one of the many benefits of marrying an Italian boy. Joe did say that he is preparing a new British delicacies.
Sophie and Joe have also been active participants in the Black Lives Matter movement. The pair went on several protests held to fight against racial injustice. This comes after the tragic death of George Floyd by few police officers.
Joe and Sophie Celebrate One Year Anniversary
Joe and Sophie celebrated their first wedding anniversary recently. And Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas took to their social media accounts to shower them with love. Nick and Priyanka posted a picture from their French wedding to wish the duo on hitting their milestone. The couple posted it on their Instagram story.
Joe and Sophie eloped the Billboard Music Awards last year to get married in Las Vegas in an almost private ceremony. Thanks to Diplo, we caught a few glimpses of our favorite couple tying the knot.
Rumors about the couple started doing the rounds in 2016. In MTV EMAs, Joe was spotted with his arm around Sophie. Later in an interview, Sophie revealed they met via a couple of mutual friends. An image was circulated of Sophie and Joe including Kevin and Nick in a photo booth. They were at a wedding and they were messing inside the booth. The image was shared by their mutual friend. This led to fans going into a frenzy of spotting Joe and Sophie together in a picture.
By January 2017, Sophie finally made things official by sharing a snap of Joe on her social media handle. She shared a picture of him smoking a cigar in a boat in Miami. Sophie captioned the picture writing, ‘Miami Daze’.
Sophie and Joe took a step forward in their relationship and adopted a husky dog together in September 2017. They named the cute little thing Porky Basquiat and created an Instagram handle for it too. In October 2017, Joe Jonas proposed to Sophie Turner after less than a year of seeing each other. The couple posted the most adorable snap on Instagram. While Sophie captioned it writing, “I said yes”, Joe captioned it writing, “She said yes”.
Sophie and Joe Had Broken Up for 24 hours
Sophie revealed in an interview later that she and Joe had broken up for 24 hours. She explains that when she was feeling mentally unwell when Joe told her he can’t be with her if she does not love herself. Sophie said, “I can’t see you love me more than you love yourself.’ That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way.”
The pair broke up at that time and revealed that it was the worst day of their lives. But after 24 hours they were like “Nevermind”. We are sure glad that they got back together as soon as they broke up.
The couple tied the knot with their family and friends officially. They shared a picture of them walking down the aisle holding hands after they got married. And now they had their first baby together.
