Sony is working on its new flapship smartphone Sony Xperia 5 II. It has confirmed that the company can launch this Smartphone soon in the market. At the same time, the company has officially revealed the launch date of the upcoming smartphone. The company is about to launch the Sony Xperia 5 II smartphone on September 17 at 12.30 pm Indian time. The sony Launched this Smartphone in an online-only event. The company has announced the launch date of this Smartphone through its official YouTube channel and Facebook account. This will an upgrade version of the Sony Xperia 5 introduced at IFA 2019. However, there is no any official information about India launch date.
Sony Xperia 5 II specifications (Expected):
According to a report in Android Headlines, it will come with a 6.1-inch full-HD+ HDR OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate as well as 240Hz touch-sensing rate. The company said to continue offering a 21:9 aspect ratio, called CinemaWide in the terms of marketing. For performance, This smartphone will powered by Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage can also expanded via MicroSD card. The smartphone will come with 5G connectivity. In terms of powerbackup, the phone may have a 4,000 mAh battery. This has no officially confirmed by the company.
Sony Xperia 5 II full details and design has also leaked. According to the report, this smartphone will have a selfie camera and earpiece. At the same time the volume panel and side mounted fingerprint sensor will be provided in the phone’s side panel.
Other specifications include the dimensions of the phone. The phone has said to measure 158mm x 68mm x 8mm. This phone comes with a 4,000mAh capacity battery that will charged with a USB Type-C PD fast charging technology. The phone is also said to sport a 3.5mm headphone jack

This sony smartphone is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup. This setup could include a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and an 82-degree field-of-view, a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3X zoom and there could be a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 124-degrees field of view. The phone may be able to shoot 4KHDR at 120fps and may have both OIS and EIS to offer stabilization for the videos shot using the phone. There is no information about the front camera.
