Roman Reigns Names WWE Opponent Who Made Him Nervous

Roman Reigns is the Head of the Table as well as the WWE’s Undisputed Universal Champion, but that does not make him immune to nervousness. His nerves were frayed at Clash of Champions in 2020. There was no live audience, just a ring, umpire Charles Robinson, Reigns, & his opponent, Jey Uso, during the height of the pandemic.

The Tribal Chief recently reflected fondly on that night and what it meant to his cousin in particular. I’ve never been so nervous for anyone I’ve ever fought. Reigns expressed his desire to see one half of the Uso brothers prosper. I want everyone to succeed, but I’m not going to lower my standards. That night, Reigns pushed the match as far as he can before Jimmy Uso threw in the towel on his brother’s behest. It was a match with little prep time. It all came down to the connection between Reigns and his cousin.

It came down to instincts and trust, and Reigns can not be happier. At the end the day, you must be able to work your way up to this level without looking out of place, according to Reigns. And he didn’t, in just too many ways, man. The Bloodline operate on a totally different scale, and it’s fun to speculate whether the team or Jey Uso would be where they are today if that match hadn’t occurred. Reigns stated, “I don’t think anyone has ever pushed me emotionally like Jey has.” I believe we did it for each other, and he became a star as a result.

He opened a different door

Take a look at Sami. He opened a different door, allowing us to show different layers, says Reigns. The Honorary Uce has created quite a stir in the WWE Universe in over the last week, with We Want Sami chants filling arenas when he’s been unavailable, not to mention Zayn’s coining of the term Ucey. All of these small moments have added multiple layers to The Bloodline, even if they have frequently come at the expense of Jey Use. However, Reigns recognises that Zayn’s prevailing persona benefits all parties.

He continues, He gives us something entirely different to play off of. Sami needs to be at the cool-kid table, in the cool clique. Being able to tell that story is what elevates us to the next level. Who would have guessed Ucey existed? However, over 12 million people on social media formed it a thing, demonstrating the kind of power we have. As Reigns and his parents continue to create history, Zayn has been just as important as ever.
