The Fenty Beauty creator sent her best to Megan Thee Stallion after she was shot and underwent surgery.
Megan recently suffered injuries after being shot on both her legs. She had to undergo surgery. Rihanna, however, sent a bouquet to Megan for her speedy recovery. She was not only gifted a bouquet by Rihanna but also everyone from her fashion brand, Fenty.
Rihanna’s Fenty partnered with Megan recently for Savage X Fenty Lingerie Line. Megan took to Instagram to post pictures of her donning the luxury brand. The post also had a picture of the thoughtful card from Rihanna and her team. “Wishing you a full and speedy recovery, Meg! Just know you’ve got a whole crew over here sending good vibes your way!” the note read.
Megan captioned it expressing her love for Rihanna and the Fenty team. Rihanna commented on the post acknowledging her love. The brand Savage X Fenty also commented on the post saying they love her.
Megan revealed that she was shot on both her feet, a few weeks ago. She described it as the worst experience of her life. Megan was in a car with rapper Tory Lanez on July 12. Lanez was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
The artist revealed her surgery for the injuries on her feet in an Instagram live. She said, “I was shot in both of my feet and I had to get surgery to get the s— taken out, to get the bullets taken out,” she began, tearing up. “I had to get surgery. It was super scary.”
Megan’s Worst Experience
Megan said it was the worst experience of her life and it wasn’t funny. She clarified, “It’s nothing to joke about and nothing for y’all to go and be making fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. And I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do s—.”
The artist explained why joking about this is not a good idea. She called out trolls for making jokes about her situation or the incident. Megan said she had never seen so many people barge into somebody else’s business. She asked trolls what if it were your mother, sister, or girlfriend who got shot. The artist questioned if they would still be making jokes.
Megan made it clear that it is a respect thing and told the people to shut up. The singer first talked about the incident on her social media handle. She shut down rumors and said the reports are inaccurate. Megan set the record straight and clarified that it wasn’t her fault.
“On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me,” she wrote at the time. “I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets.”
“I’m incredibly thankful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night,” she concluded. “I’m currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible.”
