Police searching for the missing girl  Gabby Petito and also requests her boyfriend’s support

Authorities in the United States are looking for a Florida lady who disappeared while on a road trip with her fiancé.

Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito, 22, has not contacted with her family since late August, when she was in Wyoming with her boyfriend. Brian Laundrie, 23, her boyfriend, has returned home and is now a person of interest in the investigation, according to police.

Missing From Trip

On social media, the pair had been recording their cross-country campervan adventure. According to investigators, Mr Laundrie returned to their Florida home on September 1st. Ten days later, Ms Petito’s parents reported her missing. Mr Laundrie, on the other hand, is reportedly refusing to speak to authorities about her disappearance.

Lack of Info

North Port police chief Todd Garrison said, “We’re pleading with anyone, including Brian, to submit information with us on her whereabouts in the last few weeks.” “The investigation is being hindered by Brian’s lack of information. “Eventually, the solutions will be revealed.”

Steve Bertolino, Mr Laundrie’s lawyer, justified his client’s silence.

“In my experience, intimate partners are generally the first people targeted by law authorities in cases like this, and the warning that ‘any statement made will be used against you’ is real, regardless of whether my client had anything to do with Ms Petito’s disappearance.” “As a result, Mr Laundrie is not speaking on this topic on counsel’s advice,” Mr Bertolino said.

In July, the couple went on a cross-country road trip in a white Ford Transit van, recording their journey on social media. In a YouTube video titled “Beginning Our Van Life Journey,” they filmed themselves smiling, kissing, and running on beaches, which has received over 600,000 views.

Police in Utah were called to an incident involving the couple two weeks before Ms Petito went missing.

According to a police report, officers discovered Ms Petito crying and complaining about her mental health. They did not bring any charges against them. The van has been seized by police, who are investigating it for clues.

Mr Laundrie’s family has demanded answers, including when he last saw Ms Petito and “why he left Gabby alone and drove her van to Florida.” In a statement, they stated, “These are significant questions that deserve quick answers.”
