Sushant’s Death

On June 14 last year, Sushant was found dead in his home in Mumbai. His death sent waves to the rest of the world. The initial investigation by Mumbai police says it is a case of suicide, his family disputes this. Later, Sushant’s father filed a CAR in Patna court, accusing Sushant’s girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty of suicide and extorting his money.

Subsequently, the case was investigated by three central agencies – the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Rhea was also arrested in this case. She was arrested on suspicion of being involved in obtaining marijuana for Sushant. A month later, she was released on bail.

Through much discussion, Shweta has played a key role in keeping the spirit alive and constantly demanding, what the family says, the proper investigation.
