Orlando Bloom Recalls the Moment he Laid Eyes on Katy Perry

Orlando Bloom reminisces the first time he ever laid eyes on fiance Katy Perry. The couple is expecting their first child together any time soon.

In an interview, the actor recalled the moment he clapped eyes on Katy at the Golden Globes in 2016. He mentioned that he winked at her with a plate of burgers.

Orlando described that he was on the stage gazing into the audience and he saw Katy sitting amongst the crowd. He said she was wearing this beautiful pink dress and he thought to himself, ‘Wow’. ‘So I stood on the stage, gazing out at the audience and there she was, just sitting amongst the crowd. And I remember she was wearing this beautiful pink dress and I was just like ‘Wow; I think that’s Katy Perry,” the actor said.

He continued saying that he made a beeline towards her by walking over to legendary thespian Denzel Washington. Washington was sitting next to Katy with fast food platters. Orlando told The Mirror: ‘She was sitting at a table with Denzel Washington, who had just been sent over a box of hamburgers.

Orlando went on to explain saying he asked Washington for one of the burgers. He gave it to him and that is when Orlando winked at Katy and the rest is history. The couple danced together at the afterparty hosted by now-disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. They chatted and danced together forming a close bond.

The couple then got together and broke up in 2017 and reconciled in 2018 again. But to our surprise, Orlando popped the question to Katy on Valentine’s day, taking their relationship a step ahead. Cut to now, when the adorable pair are expecting a child together. The actor already shares a 7-year-old with ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.

The entire industry knows that Orlando lost his dog, Mighty, who he had been searching for a few days. His pet disappeared during a walk two weeks ago. His collar was found signaling that he is dead. However, Orlando hopes that this incident proves to Katy what a good husband and father he will be.

The actor took to his social media handle to pay his respects to his dog. He revealed he got a tattoo of his dog’s name on his chest. Orlando had previously revealed how broken he felt since his dog went missing. He shared a timelapse video of getting the tattoo.
