Earlier this week, it was reported that Bollywood star, Kartik Aaryan tested positive for COVID-19. The actor was shooting for his upcoming venture, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 before contracting the virus.
He was working with co-stars Kiara Advani, Rajpal Yadav, and Tabu as the movie is directed by Anees Bazmee. The news of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s release date was reported last month. It was said that it will be premiering on November 19, 2021. However, with Kartik being tested positive, there were concerns about the release date of the movie.
Fortunately for fans, it will not be delayed. Bhushan Kumar has confirmed that the movie will not be delayed. He is the head of the T-Series and confirmed that the sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa will be released on the said date. Kumar said, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be coming this year. Our actor has tested positive for Coronavirus, so there is a slight delay. But we will be getting back to shoot soon and will definitely catch the date of November this year.”
The movie is produced by Bhushan, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is being directed by Anees and written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik.
Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu starrer “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” is one of the most anticipated continuations of 2020. Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s first part was profoundly valued by the crowds and now, they can’t stand by to see its subsequent portion.
The cast had begun shooting back in March 2020. Post their Jaipur schedule, they had taken off to Lucknow for the following one. Kartik and Kiara had shared a couple of pictures and recordings from the sets on their respective social media handles.
The team shared looks from their night shoot and it has got all of us energized. Kartik shared a video of a disengaged old cottage giving the terrifying vibes. Kiara also shared a boomerang of how she was battling a nippy night by sitting close to ablaze.
Prior, talking about the Lucknow shoot, Kartik revealed “I shot in Lucknow last year for “Pati Patni Aur Woh” and now I am going to be back in the city for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.’ I will be shooting across the city for a month and that makes me really excited. People of Lucknow have always been really sweet and warm towards me and I love the food here.”
The first edition of Bhool Bhulaiyaa was released in 2007 with Akshay Kumar in the lead. The star cast of the movie included names like Vidya Balan, Shiny Ahuja, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal.
