Sasha Banks

New Information Regarding Sasha Banks’ Reported WWE Exit

According to reports, WWE hasn’t had Boss Time in a while. It was noted that the timeline would corroborate Raj Giri’s tweets from Wrestling Inc. regarding Varnado’s departure from the company in June. The titles were taken away and the former champions were suspended by WWE after Varnado and Naomi left the organization due to disagreements over the creative direction of the women’s tag division.

Varnado and The Big Event may have been attempted to be booked at the WrestleCade convention, according to the report, which also confirms that Banks will be available for outside bookings starting on January 1. There are fierce claims that some conventions considered rebranding as “entertainment” conventions to get around the specifics of Varnado’s agreement. In a third report note, it is stated that an agreement was reached between Varnado’s and New Japan Pro-Wrestling in November and that the agreement has been confirmed.

On January 4 in Tokyo, Japan, Varnado is reportedly scheduled to make an appearance at Wrestle Kingdom 17. According to the report, while there has been no official word regarding any sort of agreement between Varnado and All Elite Wrestling, it is still possible. In addition to exploring opportunities in wrestling, Varnado recently revealed that her first feature film was complete. The popular Disney+ series “The Mandalorian” recently featured the former WWE “Raw” and “SmackDown” Women’s Champion as the bounty hunter Koska Reeves in recurring episodes, but Varnado is reportedly leaving after the first season.

Booker T views on Sasha Banks

Booker T thinks Sasha Banks needs to move quickly if she plans to return to professional wrestling. During the most recent episode of “The Hall of Fame,” Booker offered his opinion on the matter in light of report that Banks will compete at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in Japan. As for how to respond, he said, “I don’t know if she’s still under contract with WWE.”

“I’m not sure if Sasha has competed in Japan before, but I’m going to tell you right now that it would be amazing to be able to have that experience even if it was exchanged by WWE. Hey, want to dip your toes in the water? I have no idea, but it’s cool for her.” In reference to a potential foe, Booker said, “I’m sure Sasha would have an awesome, awesome time working with Kairi Sane over here.”
