As the spooky season nears, Netflix releases this new horror series, The Midnight Club. As interesting as it sounds, be ready to get haunted this time as Netflix released the recent first look of the show.
Vanity fair has shared the first look of The Midnight Club publicly. The series is adapted from the book of the same name by Christopher Pike. Mike Flanagan will be helming this show and as it happens the creator can’t resist his excitement about the series and has been hyping it up for the horror-loving genre fans. Other creators of the show are Viet Nguyen, Morgan Beggs, Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour, Axelle Carolyn, and Michael Fimognari.
Previously hyping up the show Mke has also revealed the cast members of the show which includes Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, William Chris Sumpter, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, and Sauriyan Sapkota. He took it to his social media handle to praise the young actors for their incredible work. The entire disclosure of the show has become a moment of celebration for the fans. Ever since the show has been teased fans have become very curious about the show. Fans cannot wait to witness it soon.
The creator of the show has revealed a brief description of the show saying the young actors will be seen playing a bunch of youngsters who are terminally ill. Further adding he also announced that the anchor of the show will be Heather Langenkamp. She is ideal when it comes to creating a horror vibe. “To horror fans like myself, Heather is royalty, and I am so excited to work with her. “- He said.
Further adding he also said that he has dreamt of working on such a series since he was a teenager and cannot wait to work with his Partner in crime Trevor Macy along with the amazing cast that has onboarded for the show. He also said that there will be more updates about the show as they near the shooting.
About The Midnight Club
As Netflix describes the show is about eight members of the Midnight Club. Each of the members meets the other in the club every day at midnight. They gather to tell sinister stories and to look for any paranormal signs from the afterlife.
The series will be created by the same team that created the horror magic of The Haunting of Hill House. The latter series is also based on the book by the same author of The Midnight Club.
