Popular singer Neha Kakkar said that while she earns from live converts, she doesn’t get paid for singing in Bollywood films!
Neha Kakkar is one of those few singers who has got extremely popular in very less time. She has given so many hits like Kala Chashma, O Saki Saki, Dilbar and Garmi. However, she says that she doesn’t get paid for signing in Bollywood films.
In a recent conversation with IANS, Neha said, “We don’t get paid for singing in Bollywood at all. What happens is they feel that if we give a superhit song, the singer will earn through shows. I get a good amount from live concerts and everything, but Bollywood doesn’t have this scene. To make us sing a song, they don’t pay.”
The singer has been going live quite often to keep the audience entertained during the lockdown. Talking about the same, Neha said, “At a time like this, as much as staying home is important, so is maintaining positivity and keeping ourselves engaged. As an artiste, I am using this time to interact with my fans through TikTok and its live concert to keep them entertained. Being calm right now is the key.”
