Actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput, seems to be in a throwback state of mind. Shahid and Mira’s eldest, daughter Misha Kapoor, is all set to turn four on August 25. The couple welcomed their first child, Misha, back on August 26, 2016 a year after they tied the knot on July 7, 2015.
Marking her daughter’s birthday eve, Mira took a trip down memory lane and revisited her first pregnancy days as she shared a picture of herself that was clicked four years ago on August 25. A glowing Mira is seen pouting and flaunting her baby bump in the picture. Which was captured just a day before her daughter Misha was born. The adorable snap was liked by many. However, it was Mira’s caption, in which she’s poking fun at herself, that drew people’s attention.
Sharing the photo, Mira wrote, “Throwback to the day before I popped #4yearsagotoday I can understand the belly getting bigger, but what’s with the nose getting huge?” The photo shows her in a pink kurta, winking and making a pout for the camera.
Shahid’s mother, actress, Neelima Azeem also commented on the adorable snap, writing, “Joy and love in our lives.” A fan wrote, “It’s a love for dodo which was transferred from belly to nose. Don’t take it seriously.”
“Missy’ is getting good at it”
Mira, who is fairly active on social media, recently took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of herself clicked by her baby girl Misha. She felt proud of her daughter for managing to click the picture so well, saying that ‘Missy’ is getting good at it. The picture went viral on social media in no time and fans were all praise for the mommy-daughter duo.
Mira and Shahid are also parents to a son named Zain, who was born on September 5, 2018. The couples’ social media profiles are filled with adorable pictures of both their children, whom they clearly absolutely adore.
“Throwback to the coolest birthday party”
A couple of months ago, Mira posted a picture from when she celebrated her birthday with their newborn son, Zain. Mira’s birthday falls on September 7, two days after Zain’s birthday. Sharing a picture from the hospital, in which Shahid Kapoor can be seen giving a peck on her cheek, Mira wrote, “Throwback to the coolest birthday party with a day old Zainu and being smothered by a questionably dressed Huz #callthefashionpolice #bringbackthosedays #gocoronago.”
“There’s nobody I’d rather be on this journey called life than you, my love”
In July, Shahid and Mira completed five years of marital bliss and the latter posted a beautiful message summing up their life.
It read, “5 years, 4 souls, 3 homes, 2 babies and 1 beautiful family. There’s nobody I’d rather be on this journey called life than you, my love. I fall in love with you more every day. And I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have the love of my life be my best friend. Thank you for everything, for being my strength and for walking through everything together, hand in hand. I love you. You make me laugh like no one else. And more often than not I’m laughing at you. Please don’t forget. Wife is always right. And the three golden words will always be ‘I am sorry’. To many more years of us.”
During the lockdown, the mother of two, Mira has been sharing glimpses of her quarantine routine with Shahid and their two kids, Misha and Zain Kapoor. She has also utilised her lockdown days to the fullest by helping her children hone their drawing skills and also experimenting with new dishes.
