Matt Long Confirms He Will Appear in Netflix’s Final Season of Manifest

Matt Long has put everyone’s concerns at ease by confirming that he will return for the fourth and final season of Manifest when it is relaunched on Netflix.

Long has confirmed that he is still on board to return to the supernatural drama despite recently being cast as the lead in the new NBC pilot Getaway. “I don’t know what’s coming,” he said at the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday. “I just hope Zeke plays a large role in it, and I’m just really excited and can’t wait to see what it is.” We have a few months until we start up, so we’re all quite excited.”

In the missing plane mystery, Long portrays Zeke Landon, a hiker who was assumed dead for a year after becoming trapped in a cave. Zeke, like the others of Flight 828, reappeared out of nowhere. In the first season, he was a recurring character before being upgraded to series regular in Season 2.

Matt Long On Final Season

Long continued, “I’ll be back for some of it, and we’re just trying to work out as much as we can.” “I adore the characters, but as you may be aware, the show was cancelled. The other project is only a pilot. We have no idea what’s going on with it right now. It’s also a fantastic project. So we’re just figuring out schedules, and everyone wants the best for everyone. So fingers crossed that everything turns out well.”

NBC cancelled Manifest in June, and the cast’s options expired after Warner Bros. Television stopped looking for a new home for the show. However, as the show’s streaming stats continued to top the streamer’s most-watched shows, talks to resurrect it with Netflix restarted in late July

Netflix confirmed in late August that Manifest would return for a final season.

Final super-sized season

Netflix’s head of global television, Bela Bajaria, said, “Since its premiere on Netflix in June, Manifest has proven incredibly popular with our users.” “With this final super-sized season, Jeff Rake and his team have produced a fascinating mystery that has viewers around the world on the edge of their seats and believing in second chances, and we’re delighted that they will deliver fans some closure.”
