Paul “Triple H” Levesque hasn’t shied away from assisting in the re-signing of talent who had either been released or declined to re-sign with WWE. Johnny Gargano, Braun Strowman, Candice LeRae, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and numerous others have recently returned, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan has great praise for a possibly re WWE superstar.
B-Fab appears to have piqued Morgan’s interest, as the champion went on Twitter to praise the Hit Row member’s presence. Morgan wrote on Twitter, Watching B-Fab wrestle her first live events this weekend was so special. The girl is a staaarr Hit Row debuted on the NXT brand in May 2021, consisting of existing Isaiah Scott, Top Dolla, Ashante Adonis, and B-Fab.
The group was invited up to the main roster in October 2021, however they were quickly dropped, with B-Fab the first to go. When Vince McMahon stepped down as WWE President and CEO, it opened up the door for newly heard talent to return to the company. Hit Row did return on the August 12 show of WWE SmackDown, and without a key member. As Scott is currently under contract with AEW as Swerve Strickland.
While many genuinely think Strickland was indeed the heart and soul of Hit Row, Top Dolla informed Solowrestling that the veteran AEW World Tag Team Champion was the firm’s final addition and wanted to engage in activities outside of the stable. Strickland, for one, is relieved to see the remainder of Hit Row flourishing on WWE programming.
Liv Morgan revealed how locker room has responded since McMahon’s retirement
Liv Morgan, the SmackDown Women’s Champion, revealed how the WWE locker room has responded since Vince McMahon’s retirement. As previously stated, the former WWE CEO announced his departure on Friday, July 22nd, following alleged misconduct. There have been many backstage responses to Vince McMahon’s retirement and also his backstage behaviour since the news came.
Morgan revealed that everyone was surprised but excited to operate with Stephanie and Nick Khan. As previously stated, it was announced on Monday that Paul Levesque would take over all creative duties for WWE. We were all taken aback. And it was unexpected. But Vince is responsible for so much of our success. So if he thought it was time, it was time. We’re also looking forward to collaborating with Stephanie & Nick.
Stephanie has been born into this industry, and there is truly no one better suited for the job. We’re all very ecstatic and can’t wait to get to work. We’re all excited to take things to the next level. Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s championship against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam on Saturday, July 30. The premium event will be held at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
